Hawkesbury Brewing Co. is bringing home some serious hardware after last night’s 2026 Australian International Beer Awards in Melbourne — officially proving the trophy room might need an extension.

In one of the biggest nights on the Australian brewing calendar, Hawkesbury Brewing Co was crowned:

Champion Medium Australian Brewery 

 

Recognised as: 
“A powerhouse of precision and personality, delivering consistency and craft excellence across a standout portfolio.” 

 

And because one trophy clearly wasn’t enough… 

 

Best Porter or Stout 

Awarded to: 
Coasty – Stout, Draught 

 

Representing the brewery on the night were brewers Tim Best, Lindsay Crawford and Oscar McDonald, who proudly accepted the awards on behalf of the entire Hawkesbury Brewing Co team.

The Australian International Beer Awards are the largest annual beer competition in the world assessing both draught and packaged beer, attracting entries from leading breweries across the globe.
